Real application of Johnider V2 SEI ::: Baby cucumber CGMMV control

Johnider V2 SEI for seed treatment

Seed-borne virus display low percentage of seed transmission,
but even very low occurrence of seed transmission is enough to start a spread of the disease.
Just by treating the seed with Johnider V2 SEI once you can be more free from the fear of seed-borne virus.

• Host : Baby cucumber
• Viral disease : CGMMV(Cucumber green mottle mosaic virus)
• Purpose of trial
  1. Test to check if CGMMV is inhibited and the plant can grow and develop normally when Jonider V2 SEI treated on the seed which has been already infected with virus.
  2. Test to determine whether the seed can overcome virus and can grow and develop normally when transplanting the seedling germinated from the treated seed in the soil infected with CGMMV (Cucumber green mottle mosaic virus).
• Results
  1. Early growth stage of baby cucumber transplanted after seed treatment with Johnider V2 SEI
     Viral symptom does not occur in leaf, but such disease symptom occurs in fruit.

  2. Mid-growth stage of baby cucumber transplanted after seed treatment with Johnider V2 SEI
     Viral symptom occurred in the fruit disappears, normal fruit forms from cotyledon
     (healthy fruit forms after 13rd~14th joint (internode) from cotyledon).
